Business Analyst (Capital Markets)

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Capital Markets to join our team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial products, regulatory reporting, and testing processes, along with the technical aptitude to support troubleshooting and system patching activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for capital market applications.
• Conduct detailed analysis on Fixed Income and Derivatives products and workflows.
• Support and coordinate regulatory reporting initiatives ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations.
• Participate in testing activities — including test case creation, validation, and defect management.
• Assist in system patching, troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution.
• Liaise with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.

Required

Skills & Experience:

• Strong domain knowledge in Capital Markets, Fixed Income, and Derivatives.
• Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting processes and standards.
• Proven experience in functional and system testing.
• Technical understanding of patching, troubleshooting, and issue triage.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, onsite team environment.
