AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) Engineer

As an AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, deploy, and maintain containerized applications on the Azure Kubernetes Service platform. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications and systems are scalable, reliable, and secure. Good communication skills are essential.

Experience (Years): 6-8

Essential skills include managing K8s on Azure and building cloud native applications, a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Azure Kubernetes Services, experience in rolling out AKS infrastructure upgrades, experience in working with web services and REST API, a clear understanding of storage, compute & data services, a clear understanding on cloud network model, working knowledge on helm chart (k8s management tool), understanding of load balancer, firewall, DNS, on-prem/cloud connectivity including IP, subnet, TCP/IP, load balancing, etc.

Ability to come up with best practices and standards, proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently as well as within a team. AKS, CKA certified preferred.
