Job Overview

Komatsu is offering an exciting opportunity to join our global SAP IT team as a senior SAP Business Analyst - FICO. In this influential role, you’ll take the lead on global initiatives and support across Komatsu’s finance applications, driving innovation and excellence in financial systems that power our business worldwide. This role is based out of our Milwaukee or Chicago Headquarters (near O'Hare), where you’ll be part of a collaborative, high‑performing team environment.

We work onsite four days per week with one flexible day, creating the right balance between in‑person connection and the flexibility professionals value.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure finance business requirements for various financial accounting, treasury, and tax packages and related functions are translated into detailed functional specifications, considering cross‑functional impacts, associated risks, cost‑benefit analysis, business justification, audit guidelines, and global support requirements.
  • Develop and oversee project plans, resource and capacity planning, testing, deployment, and documentation processes.
  • Configure and implement the SAP FICO module to meet business requirements (e.g., AR, AP, costing, GL, FA).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into SAP system requirements.
  • Document the requirements and prepare BRDs.
  • Debug and troubleshoot SAP FICO issues, and suggest necessary improvements.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies and document the results.
  • Provide technical support and training to end‑users of the SAP FICO module.
  • Work with project managers and business analysts to align the SAP FICO module with business strategies.
  • Maintain documentation of SAP FICO configurations, procedures, and training materials.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SAP FICO updates and enhancements, adapting them to the business environment.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information science, or accounting.
  • 8+ years of experience as an SAP FI/CO business analyst, senior business analyst, or related role.
  • Expertise in SAP ECC; SAP S/4 HANA, basic knowledge of other SAP modules preferred for cross‑functional delivery.
  • Previous experience planning and executing large projects.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including explaining technical processes and concepts to non‑technical user groups.
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and individually.
  • Effective change management skills.
  • Ability to establish, build, and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Hiring Range

Base pay $130,000–$140,000. The actual offer will consider experience and location.
