Lead and manage enterprise data management and governance initiatives for Pay Pal’s global business units.

• Capture documentation and analysis of data flows and traceability from end-to-end to determine enterprise data impacts.
• Support business units in articulating and documenting requirements and data mappings for enterprise data management processes and capabilities.
• Effectively communicate success criteria to data management development and testing teams.
• Lead evaluation, selection, implementation, and support of new data management and governance technologies to support data stewardship, data quality, metadata management, data architecture, data modeling, and data integration efforts.
• Define and promote new enterprise data management practices.
• Monitor and track business units’ progress toward data management and governance Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Support all activities associated with Global Data Governance forums.
• Work with business and technical data stewards and key stakeholders to understand business impacts, user requirements, and feasibility of data management solutions.
• Ensure all data management and governance activities within the Business Unit align with overall business objectives and include Data Governance in project implementation.
• Support integration of Pay Pal’s data governance into existing processes: PDLC, SDLC, Architecture Review and Risk Control Processes.
• Provide end‑to‑end data governance coverage across business functions to achieve adoption of data governance processes, standards, and practices.
• Own alignment of business units’ data stewardship function with the enterprise data management program to facilitate data ownership and accountability.
• Implement data governance procedures, processes, artifacts, documents, and training materials to operate the Data Stewardship Program.
• Build positive and influential relationships across organizations through strong collaboration, proactive planning, and decisive leadership.
• Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Systems Analysis, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Five years of relevant experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

The base pay for this role in Chicago, IL ranges from $142,210 to $221,500 per annum, based on experience and expertise.

Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation.
