Senior Product Manager, Digital Transformation
The Senior Product Manager, Digital Transformation drives the product strategy, product roadmap development, and market delivery for our Transactions teams. The incumbent will work closely with business peers and Strategic Technology Solutions team members to effectively execute against digital initiatives including Partner Products, web/mobile channel, and Enterprise Technologies. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, dynamic, multidimensional digital professional who is strategic, technology savvy, and skilled in both product strategy and operational efficiencies.
You will work closely with technical roles including data architects, SQL developers, business intelligence analysts, vendors and consultants.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the product vision and strategic development process for assigned business segment to include product roadmap development and periodic review processes
- Perform market research, market validation, and whitespace analysis to identify new opportunities for existing and new features and functionality
- Foster close relationships with key market constituents to validate product strategy and roadmaps
- Deeply understand the business case for proposed products and initiatives in assigned business segment, including cost/benefit estimates, market trends, competitive and risk analysis, industry best practices, and product development timelines
- Prepare business case (financial/ROI) analysis to quantify and determine the value to the company of a current or potentially new system/application
- Plan, prioritize, and manage the product features and requirements from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize revenue and meet operational, financial, and corporate objectives in assigned business segment, demonstrating strong understanding of the business segment needs
- Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to ensure consistent execution of product plans following established software development methodology and processes that result in product delivery on time and in budget
- Partner with business and technical teams to plan and prioritize system release and specific release content
- Engage business partners to develop and execute action plans to address gaps
- May mentor other Product Managers to accomplish results and/or provide training
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of related experience
- Experience in real estate private equity transactions / investment processes
- Hands on finance technology experience in a corporate environment
- Broad experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to drive decisions for building best in class digital products
- Strong diplomatic and consensus building skills
- Relevant experience working with 3rd party vendors to deliver results
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle development
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital channels and platforms (e.g., web, mobile, client PC, partner products, social, video)
- Broad understanding of usability and user experience best practices
- Experience with Investment Management systems like Deal Cloud, Deal Path, Altrio, highly desired
- Domain experience in Commercial Real estate underwriting process highly desired
- Data Management, Data Access, Data warehousing, Business Intelligence and Analytics experience is preferred in the business domain
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent in experience), master's preferred
Job Location and Travel
- This position is based in our Chicago office.
- Our teams work in a hybrid environment and in-office days vary by team.
- Moderate travel required.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $150,000-$200,000 and will be further discussed during the interview process.
