Job Description

Our client, a leading travel & hospitality provider, is seeking a Financial Transformation Program Manager to join their team! The ideal candidate will be comfortable with EPM (Oracle), Workday, and ERP. EPM/modeling is key as well as Workday experience. Accounting background is definitely a plus. Financial Transformation PM experience with large organizational change and stakeholders. This position is located in Chicago, Illinois.

Core

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end execution of finance transformation programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and ROI expectations.
  • Manage program and projects create project plans, track milestones, monitor risks, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration via Smartsheet.
  • Partner with finance, technology, and business stakeholders to define scope, manage issues, and drive critical path activities.
  • Establish governance, and actively engage stakeholders.
  • Create and manage integrated schedule, budget, constraints, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensure deliverables, milestones and benefits are met.
  • Manage key project activities, resource requirements, and interdependencies.
  • Work with stakeholders across functional areas to develop and support POC/soft launches.
  • Conduct system mapping, perform analysis, and enhance processes as needed.
  • Drive planning in communication and change management (training planning, processes/procedures).
  • Author and report out performance of projects and programs in a portfolio to the project team, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Ensure chosen projects/programs in portfolio are aligned to business priorities, goals and expected ROI/OKRs.
  • Set priorities.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8+ years of experience in program and portfolio management, with a focus on finance transformation and technology integration.
  • Accounting and finance experience in mid-level roles.
  • Led cross functional projects/programs/portfolio $2M+.
  • Experience in large-scale finance operations.
  • Ability to translate financial strategy into operational execution.
  • Familiarity with finance systems (e.g., EPM, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan).
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet.
  • Strong conflict resolution, active listening, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Skilled at navigating competing priorities and aligning diverse stakeholders.
  • Clear, concise communicator, especially when translating technical or financial concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay Range:
    The approximate pay range for this position is between $70.00 and $90.00.
