The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join our Pro Serve North America Delivery team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you’ll manage a team of Pro Serve Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. You’ll leverage your IT and/or Management Consulting background to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.

  • Build and manage a high‑performing team of Delivery Consultants and/or Engagement Managers to architect and implement innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Consultants, Engagement Managers, Account Executives, and Cloud Architects to deploy solutions and provide input on new features.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of innovative, forward‑looking IT strategies for customers.
  • Manage practice P&L, ensuring on‑time and within‑budget delivery of customer engagements.
  • Engage with Directors, C‑level executives, governing boards, and partner teams to capture opportunities and drive engagement delivery.
  • Drive business development initiatives, thought leadership, and portfolio oversight to meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets.
  • Define business outcomes for customers, build trust, identify AWS Professional Services offerings, and create proposals and SOWs.
  • Optimize team performance through tailored people development plans, ensuring alignment to customer needs and capabilities.
  • Consistently deliver customer engagements, supporting sales through scoping technical requirements and exceeding expectations.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
  • Experience in IT consulting/management with IT Transformation in a customer‑facing role.
  • 8+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting, or 3+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large‑scale infrastructure.
  • Experience leading application architecture/design/modernization projects, including cloud‑based solutioning (AWS or equivalent), with AI and automation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Associate level certification or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
  • Experience in project management including resource planning, schedule management, reporting, and task prioritization.
  • Experience managing P&L.
  • Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions.
  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing opportunities across a broad range of customer engagement levels.
  • Experience building and maintaining C‑level client relationships.
  • Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, Dev Ops Engineer Professional) preferred.
