Job Description:

EPIC Developer

We are looking for a skilled and innovative EPIC Developer to join our team and create cutting-edge applications on the EPIC App Orchard platform. As an EPIC Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying EPIC applications that enhance the functionality and usability of the EPIC system. You will also work with EPIC APIs, sandboxes, and other tools to integrate your applications with the EPIC data and workflows.

You will also follow the EPIC app submission process and ensure that your applications meet the EPIC standards and requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy EPIC applications on the EPIC App Orchard platform using various technologies such as HL7, FHIR, etc.
  • Work with EPIC APIs, sandboxes, and other tools to integrate your applications with the EPIC data and workflows.
  • Follow the EPIC app submission process and ensure that your applications meet the EPIC standards and requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs in your applications.
  • Provide technical support and documentation for your applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest EPIC features, updates, and best practices.
    • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of IT experience including 3 years of experience as an EPIC Developer or similar role.
  • Experience in creating applications on the EPIC App Orchard platform.
  • Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare standards and protocols.
  • Proficient in working with EPIC APIs, sandboxes, and other tools.
  • Familiar with the EPIC app submission process and requirements.
  • Excellent communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
