Job Overview

As a Workday Payroll consultant, you will lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of Workday Payroll solutions for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their payroll requirements, configure Workday Payroll to meet those needs, and provide expert guidance throughout the implementation process. You will serve as a subject matter expert on Workday Payroll best practices, helping to optimize processes and maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of Workday Payroll solutions, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with clients to translate payroll requirements into effective Workday Payroll configurations.
  • Configure Workday Payroll to meet client needs, including payroll calculations, tax setups, earnings, deductions, and related processes.
  • Lead and mentor junior consultants on payroll configuration and implementation best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT) to ensure seamless integration between Workday Payroll and other systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll issues; identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Stay current on Workday Payroll updates and new features; assess their impact and advise accordingly.
  • Contribute to the development of internal tools, methodologies, and knowledge sharing initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience supporting the Workday Payroll implementation lifecycle, including design, configuration, and project reviews.
  • Workday US Payroll certification preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, including calculations, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex Workday Payroll projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage clients, project teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail; ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $90,650–$173,559. Eligible for an annual performance bonus. Benefits and perks vary based on position and terms.
