Lead System and Network Administrator

We're looking for a Lead Systems and Network Administrator to own and evolve our enterprise infrastructure. This is a senior, hands‑on role with strategic scope — covering networking, identity management, security operations, and infrastructure architecture. You'll work alongside a fellow Senior Systems Administrator and mentor a junior technician.

This is a critical hire. The right candidate has grown up on the networking side of IT and can operate at both the tactical and strategic level.

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise networking infrastructure — switches, firewalls, wireless, VPNs
• Configure and manage firewall policies, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and network security controls
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, and plan for capacity
• Maintain network diagrams, asset inventories, and operational runbooks
• Contribute to backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

• Administer and improve SSO configuration and provisioning workflows
• Manage IAM systems, MDM platforms, and endpoint management solutions
• Implement role-based access controls and design scalable identity processes

• Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation
• Support patch management, endpoint security, and system hardening
• Help drive compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks

• Help define and execute the infrastructure and security roadmap
• Evaluate technologies and architectural approaches
• Partner with leadership to align technology with business goals

• Provide escalation‑level support for Mac and Windows environments
• Maintain and optimize onboarding/offboarding workflows

• 5+ years in network/systems administration or infrastructure engineering
• Deep, hands‑on networking expertise — TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, wireless
• Experience with networking platforms such as Uni Fi, Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki, or Palo Alto
• Proficiency with SSO solutions (Jump Cloud, Okta, Microsoft Entra , or similar)
• Experience with MDM/endpoint tools (Jamf, Kandji, Intune, Apple Business Manager, or similar)
• Comfortable in both macOS and Windows environments
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or Exchange Online

• Compliance framework experience (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
• Background in infrastructure modernization or cloud migration
• Scripting, automation, or configuration management experience
• Prior technical lead or infrastructure architect experience
