Overview
Nuveen Natural Capital is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Analyst to join the Information Technology team. The individual will install, configure, and maintain IT systems software and hardware for multi-user server computers. Working independently under limited supervision, this role ensures uptime, performance, resource availability, and security of computers within established operational guidelines. The position utilizes knowledge of computer systems and networks to identify and fix problems in networks, storage, and server platforms.
Responsibilities- Performs complex analysis during normal IT infrastructure operation, including networks, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and devices.
- Acquires, installs, and upgrades computer components and software; plans for service outages and other problems.
- Develops automation of routine tasks using scripting and writes basic programs to address more complex systems software configuration and enhancement.
- Develops domain solutions and executes changes in line with the implementation plan.
- Configures multiple servers and associated networking to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
- Reviews documentation related to domain configuration, routing, processes, and service records.
- Creates current documentation of all equipment under operational control.
- Coaches and mentors the work of lower-level professionals.
- Educational Requirements:
University degree preferred. - Work Experience:
3+ years required; 5+ years preferred. - Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work.
- 3+ years of experience in an infrastructure role.
- Experience in Azure Security.
- Experience in Azure networking.
- Review of existing documentation and creating new documentation.
- Configure/Manage Remote Desktop on Azure VMs.
- Configure/Manage Windows VDI.
- Experience with Patch Management.
- Ability to formulate system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
- Mentor end users on system designs and functionalities through creation of training materials and conducting demos.
- Experience in Troubleshooting.
