IT Audit Manager | Greater Chicago (Hybrid)

A large global consumer/distribution company is seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to help shape and lead its IT audit function.

This is a high-visibility opportunity to manage the planning, execution, quality, and reporting of IT audit projects while partnering with technology and business leaders across a complex, multi-site enterprise.

Responsibilities
  • Help develop IT Audit strategy, policies, procedures, and continuous-improvement initiatives across people, process, and technology.
  • Support the annual enterprise risk assessment, maintain the IT audit universe, and help build and manage the IT audit plan.
  • Lead audit engagements from risk assessment and planning through fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Review audit work papers, project updates, memos, and reports for Internal Audit leadership, senior management, and the Audit Committee.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to understand emerging risks, organizational changes, and control-environment impacts.
  • Stay current on IT, cybersecurity, and audit trends and incorporate relevant insights into audit work.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of IT Audit experience and 3+ years of leadership experience; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong knowledge of operational IT auditing, internal controls, and risk assessment.
  • CISA or CISM required.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong communication skills.
  • Preferred:
    Master’s degree, CIA and/or CFE, data analytics/continuous auditing experience, and Alteryx Designer certifications.
