The Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Dev Fin Ops  Engineer to join JLLT's Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) organization. This role will support the modernization and reliability of our hybrid infrastructure environments and will be essential in building and supporting best-in-class automation, operational excellence, and financial transparency within IT. The role reports to the Head of Business Operations and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cost‑optimized cloud and on‑premises solutions that drive business value across the enterprise.

You will assume an active role in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Dev Ops practices with a specialized focus on financial operations. In addition to core Dev Ops engineering functions, you will be directly responsible for building and managing a show‑back financial model to provide clear cost attribution back to business segments and will lead initiatives to optimize infrastructure spend across both cloud and on‑prem environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks in both cloud and on‑premises environments.
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, enabling teams to deliver software reliably, rapidly, and with minimal manual intervention.
  • Build and maintain alerting capabilities within cloud cost management and application resource management tools to ensure app teams have transparency into spend.
  • Develop, operationalize, and evolve a show‑back financial model to track, analyze, and communicate infrastructure costs to internal app teams and business segments, promoting transparency and accountability in technology spend.
  • Partner with stakeholders in engineering and operations to actively drive initiatives focused on cost savings, resource efficiency, and infrastructure right‑sizing across cloud and data center environments.
  • Automate routine processes, deployments, and maintenance tasks to improve reliability, reduce manual error, and accelerate service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for platforms, processes, and procedures.
  • Evangelize Dev Ops and Fin Ops best practices across engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Dev Ops, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related IT operations discipline.
  • Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including strong experience with cloud cost management and optimization.
  • Demonstrated track record managing and automating infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and Cloud Formation.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Jenkins, Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
  • Experience implementing and enhancing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
  • Proven ability to design and implement cost show‑back or charge‑back models, including analysis and reporting of IT spend.
Preferred Experience
  • Exposure to Fin Ops practices and relevant certifications (e.g., Fin Ops Certified Practitioner).
  • Advanced knowledge of cost analysis tools and dashboards in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, Cloudability, and Turbonomics).
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert, or equivalent.
Collaboration Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical information to a variety of stakeholders, including both technical colleagues and business users.
  • Demonstrated success working in matrixed, cross‑functional teams; ability to build collaborative partnerships and influence best practices adoption.
  • Proactive problem‑solving orientation,…
