Our client is looking for a Data Security Business Analyst
This must be done hybrid 3 days per week in Downtown Chicago
Responsibilities- Lead data loss prevention efforts by monitoring for additional types of sensitive data and tuning existing rules to reduce false positive events which creates disruption for business processes
- Support the implementation and enhancement of data protection solutions such as Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview, or similar tools
- Assist in mapping data protection requirements to governance frameworks and compliance obligations
- Analyze data loss events to identify and recommend changes to minimize false positive scenarios
- Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview, or other security tools
- Strong understanding of data protection and testing business test cases related to test policies
- Previous banking experience highly preferred
- Knowledge of data classification, data governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements
