Role Overview

Scrum Master – Chicago, IL (Hybrid; onsite one day per week)

The role is full‑time and may begin with an initial 6‑month assignment with the possibility of extension.

• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Drive best Agile practices, coach teams, and eliminate impediments to ensure successful sprint delivery.
• Manage project backlogs and release plans using JIRA or Azure Dev Ops, creating boards, backlogs, sprints, and delivery schedules.
• Act as a change agent, promoting continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
• Support cross‑functional teams throughout the product lifecycle, from planning through delivery.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and technical leads to define scope and priorities.
• Generate status reports and metrics for leadership and stakeholders.

• 3–5 + years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile facilitation role.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Scaled Agile, and optionally Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience working in retail, financial services, or banking environments is an advantage.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Valid U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States; non‑citizens must have proper work authorization.
