Project & Data Coordinator

Position Title:

Project & Data Coordinator (Position Number: 8102649). Work Modality:

School of Social Work.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Student Affairs office in the School of Social Work in maintaining and improving the internship process through the internship database.
  • Support the internship database that houses all information related to internships and manage data collection for evaluation.
  • Support technology related to internship student success and the overall database system.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and support data collection, analysis and reporting of student proficiency in core competencies.
  • Recreate and test internship forms, design workflows, provide training to stakeholders, and create new processes.
  • Serve all database users, including Internship Coordinators, students, Loyola Liaisons, and Internship Supervisors.
  • Add new programs to the database to support internships.
  • Provide application support to database platform users; document and manage database issues.
  • Collaborate with University IT and the database platform support to resolve issues and report software glitches.
  • Collaborate with the internship team to continually improve the database platform experience for stakeholders.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data to support the integrity of the online database.
  • Act as a resource and consultant to the School of Social Work on data and evaluation information.
  • Manage and respond to evaluation requests related to grants, reaffirmation, and other data requests.
  • Lead program evaluation, survey design, prioritize key metrics, and assess activities and outcomes.
  • Conduct quality assurance of data and design evaluation plans.
  • Enhance communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in the Assessment and Evaluation Committee.
  • Collaborate with Student Affairs and other School of Social Work members to meet goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in a technical or social science area with an interest in data and evaluation.
  • One to three years of related experience (social work experience preferred but not required).
  • Interest in training and technical assistance.
  • Skills in research design, survey research design, academic program review, assessment of student learning, quantitative and qualitative analysis and effective report writing.
  • Ability to communicate technical results in a non‑technical manner to a broad audience.
  • Strong understanding of Excel and experience overseeing data management systems.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm and ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
  • Team‑player mentality with a positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail, solid analytical skills and methodical problem‑solving approach.
  • Quick learner with ability to acquire new skills efficiently.
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic troubleshooting skills, use of web browsers and Internet, file maintenance and organization, email etiquette, digital safety and security.
  • SPSS, SAS or other basic tools for statistical analysis and data management; ability to learn Sonia Online database.
