10 is currently seeking a User Access Management (UAM) Specialist - Onsite position with a Major Insurance Company located in Chicago, IL. This is a 6+ month contract to hire opportunity. Compensation: $49.00 - $59.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications.
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for the end-to-end user access management lifecycle, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and executing quarterly access reviews. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements by validating and documenting user access controls. Experience with access management tools such as SailPoint, Okta, and Service Now is highly desired.
- Execute and maintain ownership of quarterly User Access Reviews across applications, shared drives, infrastructure, and SharePoint sites
- Deliver complete and defensible evidence packages to Risk and Governance and follow up on findings, exceptions, and remediation activities
- Manage, approve, and execute user access changes across enterprise systems in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements
- Independently execute and verify deprovisioning activities to mitigate security and audit risk
- Maintain complete and traceable access records within ticketing systems
- Monitor identity and access management tools and integrations, coordinating resolution of failures or anomalies
- Analyze access data and processes to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities
- Partner with IT, HR, Security, and application teams to coordinate timely provisioning and deprovisioning of access
- Serve as an escalation point for complex or audit impacting access issues
- 3+ years of experience in user access management, IT security, or a related role
- Proficiency with access management tools and standard business applications
- Experience with SailPoint and Okta
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills in access governance and audit scenarios
- Attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Skills:
- Experience with Service Now
- Experience with Python
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISA, CISM, COBIT)
