AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining AI-driven solutions to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of pharmaceutical packaging operations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, to integrate AI technologies
• Designing and deploying AI/ML algorithms to mine and analyze MES and data lake data
• Building intuitive dashboards and reporting tools for actionable insights
• Developing data pipelines that integrate and normalize data across packaging lines
• Applying statistical and machine learning techniques to identify root causes of rejects and downtime
• Developing predictive maintenance algorithms to forecast failures
• Supporting equipment and OT vendors in configuring and tuning AI/ML modules
• Partnering with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with standards
• Monitoring, retraining, and documenting deployed models for accuracy

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Up to 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML models in a production environment
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for AI/ML development
• Experience with ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Knowledge of computer vision, time-series analysis, or predictive modelling techniques
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for model deployment and scaling
• Understanding of IoT, MES, or ERP systems integration
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
