Swoon is partnering with a leading banking organization to hire an experienced M&A / Merger Integration Associate to support enterprise-wide merger, acquisition, divestiture, and integration initiatives across engineering and infrastructure teams.
Job SummaryThe M&A / Merger Integration Associate will support enterprise merger, acquisition, divestiture, and integration initiatives from planning through execution. This individual will partner closely with infrastructure, engineering, security, cloud, networking, and business stakeholders to coordinate integration activities, document requirements, manage dependencies, and support executive-level planning.
The ideal candidate brings prior experience supporting multiple M&A or enterprise integration programs and understands how technology organizations integrate during complex business transformations. This is not a hands-on engineering role, but rather a strategic program delivery position requiring strong communication, organization, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Job Duties- Support merger, acquisition, divestiture, and enterprise integration initiatives across engineering and infrastructure organizations.
- Coordinate integration planning across infrastructure, networking, cloud, enterprise applications, end-user computing, and security teams.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements gathering, blueprinting, planning, and documentation efforts.
- Develop project plans, workstream trackers, executive presentations, status reports, and governance documentation.
- Identify cross-functional dependencies, risks, assumptions, and integration milestones across multiple work streams.
- Partner with technical subject matter experts to understand integration requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
- Support planning for enterprise technology integrations involving networks, circuits, data centers, cloud platforms, applications, user migrations, and enterprise systems.
- Help establish and improve integration methodologies, documentation standards, governance processes, and execution frameworks.
- Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate multiple concurrent integration initiatives while maintaining strong attention to detail and organizational excellence.
