Our client in the finance sector is looking for a Data Engineer I to join their team. They are a leading global investment bank known for M&A, valuations, and private market advisory work. They are looking for an engineer to come in and help them manage lots of investment data.
Hybrid Work ModelHybrid: 4 days a week in downtown Chicago.
Team & ScopeYou’ll be joining a senior Data Engineer and a team of four Data Analysts, helping guide their migration from SQL Server to Microsoft Fabric + Databricks, building transformation pipelines, improving governance, and shaping next‑gen data infrastructure.
Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of experience with Python, SQL, Azure, Databricks, Azure Data Factory
- Microsoft Fabric
- Snowflake
- Financial background (knowing the language)
Tech Breakdown
- 50% Python/SQL
- 50% Azure
Daily Responsibilities
- 100% Hands‑On
