Sr Network Administrator
Location: Chicago, IL, 60606
Salary/Payrate: $130-$150K EXCELLENT Benefits and a 35hr work week!
Work Environment: Hybrid, 2 days WFH
Term: Permanent
Bachelor's degree required: Preferred
Referral Fee: AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired
Job DescriptionSUMMARY: This role combines maintenance and managing of the on-premises and cloud environments, as well as upgrade planning and future needs of the Firm's information technology.
Responsibilities- Administration, maintenance, and upgrades of 30 virtual servers, 175 workstations and 180 users both local and remote. Windows server environment, Windows 11 laptop environment.
- Supports hardware and software at workstation and server level.
- Assists with identifying and resolving issues.
- Interacts with users, clients and vendors.
- Provides help desk support through escalation process and after-hours requests.
- Completes special assignments/projects as assigned.
- Technical backup for Network Administrators and Chief Information Officer.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (all versions), VMWare, Windows Scripting, Microsoft Cloud tools.
- Knowledge of Cisco connectivity hardware a plus.
- Project management skills.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years systems admin experience; law firm experience preferred.
- Excellent oral, organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills.
- Conscientious, thorough, accurate, attention to detail, responsive, self-motivated, professional.
- Ability to work well with all levels of personnel.
- Able to be on call after hours and weekends.
