Contract:

4 months, fully remote opportunity (Eastern Time Zone ONLY). Strictly temporary for year end volume assistance with no opportunity for conversion. Laptop provided. Candidates should not have any upcoming vacation needs during the contract period.

• Fully remote opportunity in the Eastern Time Zone only.
• Support the Asset Management Services team, specifically working with Separately Managed Accounts (aka SMA).
• Under limited supervision, use advanced knowledge and skills to lead others in providing support in specific trading activities within an assigned functional area.
• Follow established procedures and prescribed guidelines to perform tasks requiring evaluation, originality, or ingenuity in routine decisions.
• Serve as a resource to others in resolving complex problems and issues with extensive contact with internal and external customers to identify, research, and resolve problems.
• Lead the work of others and provide training, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced associates.
• Ensure traders are notified of events that affect orders (e.g., dividend declarations, stock splits).
• Provide and coordinate pricing information until the order is executed, cancelled, or expired.
• Ensure that trades are executed and confirmed in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Facilitate the price adjustment and trade correction process.
• Reconcile open order files and maintain trade data in required databases.
• Review trade problem research results and determine appropriate corrective action.
• Contact internal and external customers to resolve trading problems.
• Set up and monitor client information and restrictions; resolve comparison issues and assist in portfolio allocation.
• Accept, screen, and route telephone calls and maintain records of inquiries.
• Maintain currency in trading policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Recent experience working for an investment firm.
• At least 1 year of experience placing trades.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Team player who is willing to jump in and help others even if it does not fall within their job description; clear and professional written and verbal communication; eagerness/willingness to learn.
