Position: IT Support Specialist I
Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Responsibilities- Respond to Tier I support requests via ticketing system, email, phone, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common issues related to Windows workstations, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, networking, and approved applications.
- Support user account lifecycle tasks including creation, modification, password resets, and access management.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Assist with Duo MFA enrollment and basic troubleshooting.
- Use Ninja One for remote support tasks, device monitoring, and routine system maintenance.
- Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software, and licensed assets.
- Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and knowledge base articles.
- Support new hire onboarding by preparing workstations, provisioning accounts, and delivering a smooth first-day experience.
- Escalate issues appropriately based on impact, scope, and complexity.
- Follow all IT policies, security guidelines, and change management procedures.
- Provide friendly, patient, and professional customer service with a focus on resolving user issues efficiently and effectively.
- Perform assigned duties under general supervision while contributing positively to the IT team.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication, patience, and empathy.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field preferred, with 0–4 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience working on an IT help desk, technical support, or customer support with technical components.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 user management and productivity applications.
- Experience with MFA, mobile device setup/support, and basic networking concepts.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and follow established procedures.
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic, customer‑first approach.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve successful team service delivery.
- High level of professionalism and integrity when handling sensitive information.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Apple Device Support, or Microsoft Fundamentals.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, VPN).
- Experience building or troubleshooting personal computers.
Pay Transparency: $40,000 - $55,000
