Compensation: $24-$32/hour ($46,800-$62,400 annualized) + annual bonus
Position Summary
Oil-Dri Corporation of America is seeking a Helpdesk Technician to provide front-line technical support for teammates across the organization. This position serves as the primary point of contact for hardware, software, and technology-related issues while helping ensure employees have the tools they need to work effectively.
Working closely with teammates across multiple locations, the Helpdesk Technician performs troubleshooting, equipment deployment, system support, inventory management, and ticket resolution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and building a foundation for long-term growth within Information Technology.

Primary Responsibilities
- Respond to teammate requests for technical assistance and support
- Diagnose hardware, software, and system-related issues through troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Document and manage support requests through the Help Desk ticketing system
- Resolve routine technical issues while escalating complex issues when appropriate
- Configure, deploy, and support desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, and related equipment
- Install, update, and maintain software applications
- Provide remote and onsite support to teammates
- Maintain accurate inventory records for IT equipment and technology assets
- Assist with new computer setup, deployment, and user onboarding activities
- Track troubleshooting efforts and maintain detailed support documentation
- Stay current on emerging hardware and software technologies
- Support technology initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across the organization
Candidate Profile
- Associate degree, bachelor's degree, A+ certification, or equivalent technical experience
- Experience providing technical support, customer service, or helpdesk assistance
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a desire to help others
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Experience
- Microsoft Windows operating system support
- PC hardware installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Microsoft Office applications
- IT asset management and inventory tracking
- Microsoft certifications or related technical certifications
