Data Center Technician

What You’ll Do

• Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability meet defined service levels
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and perform physical repairs, including root cause analysis of failures
• Respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while on scheduled on-call rotation
• Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware, and maintain documentation and inventory
• Assemble, install, and perform maintenance of equipment and test tools; travel up to 10% of time to other data center locations as needed

• Computer hardware experience including troubleshooting and assembling
• Linux operating system experience
• Ability to regularly transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to remain in stationary position for extended periods and maneuver in cramped or elevated spaces to access server racks
• Availability to work flexible schedule within 24/7 environment including rotating on-call shifts

• Data center operations experience or computer networking experience
• Python, Bash, or other scripting languages experience
• Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in IT-related field

Base salary $65,000-$83,000, plus discretionary bonus and equity awards.
