Project Data Analyst (Entry / Junior Level)
Role Description
Support project teams by collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to improve project planning, execution, and overall performance. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide stakeholders with actionable insights into project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, risks, milestones, and key performance indicators. Monitor project metrics, identify trends, evaluate project outcomes, and recommend opportunities for process optimization and operational improvement.
Assist with forecasting, performance tracking, data validation, and reporting activities to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of project information. Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects and strategic initiatives across the organization. Support project governance activities by maintaining accurate documentation, preparing performance reports, and ensuring effective monitoring of project progress throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in spreadsheets, reporting tools, data analysis methodologies, and data visualization platforms. Familiarity with SQL, database concepts, statistical techniques, project performance measurement, and business reporting practices is advantageous. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time‑management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Knowledge of forecasting, process improvement methodologies, project management principles, business intelligence concepts, KPI reporting, performance analytics, and project governance practices is highly beneficial. Experience with project reporting tools, dashboard development, and project lifecycle management processes is considered an advantage.
