Technical Program Manager - Need locals to IL
Contract
The IT Strategy Analyst is responsible for helping the IT Director of Strategy develop and execute the IT Strategic plan including planning and measurement of strategic technology initiatives to grow and align with the business.
Responsibilities- Strategic thinker that understands the big picture and can determine impact of decisions/strategy on long term growth.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to capture and articulate findings and recommendations as well as the ability to facilitate strategic planning meetings with executives, external vendors, clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in health care industry and technology to assess competitive landscape and determine competitive advantage or gaps.
- Technology skills and experience working on large scale technical initiatives / strategies.
- Driven enthusiastic professional that can build relationships, influence and motivate others. Team player with a strong work ethic and who can work well under pressure.
- Strong research, organizational and analytical skills to gather data, assess/analyze, synthesize information, and make clear recommendations.
- Proven Experience in strategic planning and execution of strategic initiatives including defining metrics, monitoring and measuring results.
- BA/BS degree is required. Master's degree in Technology or Business would be a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in an IT strategic position, with proven ability to develop business transformation strategies based on market- and customer-centric information and analysis.
- Experience in management and delivery of large IT initiatives.
- Healthcare, technology and market knowledge to provide value to helping guide the organization of how technology can help drive business initiatives.
- Ability to influence teams to bring forward actionable conclusions.
- Experience in health insurance and health-related industries such as health information technology or provider operations.
- Expert PowerPoint, Visio, Microsoft Project, Excel skills and data analysis skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; facilitation skills to lead meetings.
