Job Description & How to Apply Below
Join our team as the expert you are now and create your future.
At Huron, you have the opportunity to discover your professional passions by being an integral part of our teams and getting exposure to a variety of projects. Our Analysts join us from a wide range of backgrounds and have immediate access to the training and coaching they need to drive impact and develop into the innovators and leaders of tomorrow. We provide the opportunity to enhance analytical skills while working as part of a team committed to developing creative insights, implementing processes, and driving tangible results.
Our Analysts work independently and in group settings to get hands on experience in building effective relationships and creating solutions for our clients.
- Health systems, academic medical centers, and other healthcare provider organizations are all trying to address a common enterprise problem: our data should be telling us more than it is, so what is in the way, and how can we develop a data-driven, AI-enabled approach to our mission? Our Assessments team answers that question. We go into an organization, map how data moves and where it stalls, quantify what the friction costs, and hand leadership a case for change they can act on and fund.
- As a Senior Analyst you sit at the center of that work. You will support current-state analysis, build the value stream maps that make bottlenecks visible, size the gap between where a client is and where they need to be, and translate client needs into strategy roadmaps an executive committee can approve. You will work within a broader assessment team to develop future state vision statements and develop executable roadmaps
- Analyzing data, synthesizing documentation, developing value stream maps, drafting future state process designs.
- Synthesizing client stakeholder interviews, identifying process improvement opportunities
- Developing recommendations, building business cases, defining return on investment (ROI) for proposed data management modernization initiatives.
- Developing executive summaries in PowerPoint & Word
- Analyzing client documentation in Excel
- Development of reports, dashboards, and visualizations as needed in Power BI
- 1+ years of work experience in consulting, healthcare, or financial analysis
- 1+ years of experience using BI & Visualization tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Tableau or Power BI
- 1+ years of experience with SQL programming.
- 1+ years of experience working with data sources such as Databases, Data Lakes or Cloud Applications.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science/Management or Information Systems or equivalent
- Familiarity with Enterprise data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake. Data Engineering experience a major plus.
- Has strong presentation and collaborative skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation /deliverables
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- Experience with project management and/or software implementation process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills in working with clients and co-workers
- Strong client management skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (project dependent)
