We are looking for Service Now IT Asset Management (ITAM) SME to lead the implementation, administration, and optimization of Service Now ITAM solutions, including Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro). The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Infrastructure, Security, Procurement, and Application Support to deliver effective asset management practices, support audits, and maximize the value of IT assets across the organization.
Strong expertise in Service Now ITAM modules, ITIL processes, integrations, reporting, and stakeholder management is essential for success in this role.
Required Skills Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support Service Now ITAM solutions including:
o Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
o Software Asset Management (SAM)
o Asset Lifecycle Management
o Discovery and CMDB integrations
Configure and maintain Service Now ITAM modules, workflows, forms, business rules, and integrations.
Configure complex publisher packs for vendors like Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, and SAP
Manage end-to-end asset lifecycle processes including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
Support software license compliance, entitlement management, and audit readiness activities.
Perform data reconciliation between CMDB, Discovery, procurement systems, and asset repositories.
Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to asset utilization, compliance, and lifecycle management.
Troubleshoot platform issues and provide production support.
Collaborate with IT, procurement, security, and compliance teams for asset governance initiatives.
Participate in upgrades, patching, and platform enhancement activities.
Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
