Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst reports to the Application Development Manager or Director.
The responsibilities outlined below are not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be assigned as needed.
Position Responsibilities- Develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for the organization's information technology services.
- Gather and analyze data to support business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Track, document, and verify software defects and resolutions throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support testing for software applications, information systems, and operational systems.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the organization's core values.
- 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing software quality assurance standards.
- 10+ years of experience serving as a lead tester for major application integrations and/or enterprise software releases.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and SDLC.
- Extensive experience testing enterprise software applications.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Automated testing tools
- Ad hoc query tools
- Reporting software
- Experience with statistical reporting and analysis.
- Strong project management skills or significant experience working in project-based environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Experience working in collaborative, team-oriented environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using test planning and defect tracking tools.
- Previous consulting experience.
- Familiarity with Informatica ETL and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university or
- Equivalent combination of education and extensive experience in enterprise application test planning and execution.
