Job Title:
Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Technical Lead/Architect Overview
LOWCODEMINDS is seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Technical Consultant to support ongoing technical (Strong technical expertise) and functional operations across key Oracle EBS modules. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in solution design, configuration, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration within an enterprise environment. This role requires working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to ensure smooth system operations and successful delivery of enhancements and projects.
Key Responsibilities- Requirements & Solution Design:
Engage with business users to gather requirements, analyze existing processes, and design scalable Oracle EBS solutions aligned with best practices. - Configuration & Enhancements:
Configure Oracle EBS modules, implement system enhancements, support customizations, and ensure consistency with overall architecture and compliance standards. - Technical & Functional Support:
Provide advanced support for incidents, defects, and system issues; conduct root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions. - Integrations & Data
Activities:
Assist with integrations between Oracle EBS and external systems, including data mapping, validation, conversion, and reconciliation. - Testing & Deployment:
Develop and execute test cases, support SIT/UAT activities, resolve defects, and assist with deployment and post-implementation stabilization. - Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
Prepare detailed configuration documents, functional/technical specifications, user guides, and training materials. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Participate in project planning, regular status meetings, and workshops with business and technical teams.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite in technical roles.
- Expertise in one or more EBS modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, HRMS).
- Strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, configurations, workflows, and integrations.
- Experience with OAF (Oracle Application Framework).
- Experience with Oracle Reporting Forms
- Experience with BI Publisher
- Experience with Workflow Builder
- Experience with EBS Tax Manager.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and basic debugging/troubleshooting (for techno-functional roles).
- Ability to gather requirements, prepare documentation, and design end-to-end solutions.
- Experience supporting month-end or year-end financial/billing cycles is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Standard work hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday.
- Occasional overtime may be required during high-volume or critical periods (e.g., billing month-end), compensated at the standard rate.
- Oracle EBS certification(s) in relevant modules.
- Experience working in multi-vendor or global delivery environments.
- Exposure to Oracle Cloud, integrations, or migration initiatives.
