Senior Data Center Infrastructure Architect | Cybersecurity & Defense | $200K Base
- Location: Remote
- Compensation: $200K base
- Travel: Occasional international travel / EMEA support
A growing Cybersecurity & Defense Technology company is seeking a Senior Data Center Infrastructure Architect to design and lead the deployment of complex, customer-hosted infrastructure.
What we're looking for:
- Deep hands-on background building on-prem/data center infrastructure - racks, servers, PDUs, structured cabling, optics, firmware, power & cooling
- Experience creating BOMs, low-level designs (LLDs), sizing models and capacity plans
- Strong Linux, enterprise storage and networking expertise
- Ability to lead technical design workshops and oversee deployments executed by partners/contractors
- Experience developing runbooks, readiness checklists and repeatable deployment processes
- Strong customer-facing communication and technical leadership
Nice to have: Air-gapped/classified environments, GPU/HPC infrastructure, large-scale analytics platforms, FedRAMP/CMMC, disaster recovery or federal/defense experience.
