IT Project Manager, IT Consultant
Allstate is seeking a Vended Application Lead Consultant to own and optimize key third party applications supporting our Insurance IT landscape. In this role, you will lead end to end lifecycle management for vended solutions, from vendor assessment and selection through implementation, integration, and ongoing support. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to align application capabilities with Insurance objectives, drive configuration and enhancements, and ensure reliability, security, and compliance.
You will mentor technical teams, manage vendor relationships and SLAs, and champion best practices in change, release, and incident management. Responsibilities
- Lead end to end lifecycle management of vended/third party applications supporting Insurance ITCoordinate evaluation, selection, and onboarding of vended solutions with business and technical stakeholders
- Oversee implementation, configuration, integration, and upgrades of vended applications
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs to ensure performance, security, and compliance
- Collaborate with product owners and business partners to translate requirements into application capabilities
- Drive incident, problem, and change management processes for assigned applications
- Ensure application architecture, integrations, and data flows align with enterprise standards
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams and external vendors
- Monitor application performance, reliability, and user satisfaction; drive continuous improvement
- Prepare documentation, roadmaps, and reports for leadership on application health and strategy
