Team Overview

Architects, Software Development for Chicago, IL location. Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native infrastructures. Focus on AWS cloud services, Kubernetes orchestration, and modern Dev Ops practices, enabling high-performance development and deployment workflows across teams. Architect and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS or GCP Cloud. Design and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications at large scale, 10s of thousands of TPS and 99.999% reliability.

Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment. Define and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards using Terraform or Cloud Formation. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate Dev Ops best practices into the software development life cycle. Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or AWS Cloud Watch. Ensure compliance with security and governance policies across cloud and container environments.

Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to continuously improve Dev Ops capabilities. Help mentor junior software engineers and promote a culture of automation, reliability, and scalability.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in software development required.
• Note:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive experience in software development also acceptable.

• The U.S. base salary range for this position is $165,693/yr-$165,693/yr + benefits ().annually.
• Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in Trans Union’s annual bonus plan.
