Workforce Software (WFS) Solution Architect
Next Generation, Inc., an Equal-Opportunity Employer, is seeking a skilled Work Force Software (WFS) Solution Architect to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of time, attendance, and labor scheduling solutions using the Work Force Software platform, for a hybrid role. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of workforce management processes and a proven track record of delivering scalable and optimized WFS solutions for global organizations.
Lead the architectural design and end-to-end implementation of Work Force Software (Emp Center, Work Force Suite) solutions.
Partner with HR, Payroll, Operations, and IT stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design scalable, configurable, and efficient WFS solutions that align with organizational needs and compliance requirements.
Configure and customize WFS modules including Time & Attendance, Absence Management, and Advanced Scheduling.
Lead time clock implementation planning, including defining configuration requirements, coordinating the build, provisioning devices, and developing deployment/rollout plans across sites.
Provide oversight and guidance to implementation teams and serve as the primary liaison with Work Force Software support.
Ensure system integration with other platforms such as ERP, Payroll (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ADP), and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Success Factors).
Lead or contribute to testing strategies including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live readiness.
Maintain documentation including solution designs, configuration specifications, and technical integration flows.
Advise on best practices and stay current with product updates, roadmap changes, and workforce management trends.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Technology, or related field.
7+ years of experience in IT or HR technology roles with at least 3–5 years focused on Work Force Software solution design and implementation.
Strong functional knowledge of workforce management processes (time tracking, scheduling, leave management, compliance).
Experience integrating WFS with ERP, payroll, and HR systems.
Hands-on experience with WFS configuration tools and rules writing (pay rules, accruals, interfaces).
Experience leading WFS time clock/kiosk implementations, including configuration requirements definition, build coordination, device provisioning, and deployment planning.
Familiarity with database queries (e.g., SQL) and middleware/integration platforms.
Experience working in a global environment with complex union, labor law, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
Work Force Software certifications.
Experience with Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
Exposure to labor regulations like FLSA, FMLA, and GDPR.
Experience with cloud-based HR ecosystems (Workday, Success Factors, Oracle HCM).
Competitive FTE salary range based on experience, education, and geographical location of $135,000 - $155,000 USD base salary.
