The Network and Security Manager is responsible for maintaining the enterprise network and security infrastructure. They include, but are not limited to: M365, Entra , Exchange Online, VMWare, Citrix, Sonic Wall, Equal logic, Pure Storage, Crowd Strike, Arctic Wolf, Veeam, Zerto, Host Monitor, and GFI Lan Guard.
Responsibilities- Maintain, upgrade, and document all network, server, storage, and security systems.
- Oversee network, server, and storage performance, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee network backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats.
- Support IT solutions to improve end-user productivity.
- Communicate with members of the IT staff and promote the exchange of information to ensure system reliability.
- Work with business partners to implement network and security solutions.
- Attend regular IT status meetings.
- Provide regular status updates to the Chief Information Officer and Director of IT.
- Work with members of the IT staff to support end users.
- Assist with firm-wide technology initiatives, including the rollout of new software and hardware.
- Test new software/configurations before deploying to other members of the firm.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science preferred, or comparable professional certifications.
- At least 5 years of experience with networking and security (Entra , Sonic Wall, ISO
27001). - 3‑5 years of experience in a user‑facing technical support role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Entra , M365, Crowd Strike, Arctic Wolf, and other networking and security solutions.
- Knowledge of legal business software, including but not limited to: iManage, Doc Xtools, Kofax PowerPDF, Litera, Laurel time entry, and others as needed.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills and an aptitude for technical concepts.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the firm.
- Ability to demonstrate confidence with and mastery of subject matter.
- Highly proficient in time management, organization, planning, and prioritization.
- Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a changing business environment.
- Candidate should be self‑motivated and work well within a team.
- Consistent and predictable attendance.
- Work is normally performed in a typical office work environment at an assigned station.
- Primarily office‑based with on‑site support requirements, with in‑office expectations of at least 3 days per week.
- Standard business hours with occasional after‑hours on‑call duties.
- Fast‑paced environment requiring quick response to the firm's needs.
- Limited exposure to physical risk, but must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to comply with all safety requirements in the workplace.
