Key Responsibilities
  • As a Director with EY-Parthenon’s Deals Transaction Analytics practice, you will lead teams in delivering critical data-driven business, financial, and commercial insights to support clients in their M&A, divestitures, carve-outs, and other transformational events. Further, you will leverage your business acumen and analytics skills to lead value creation initiatives within private equity portfolio companies and corporations alike. In both M&A and value creation projects, you’ll work closely with corporate and private equity leaders, strategists, and decision-makers, offering data-driven insights that help shape strategic decisions.
  • This role provides the opportunity to combine technical skills with business acumen, working with advanced tools/technologies such as Alteryx, Snowflake, Databricks and PowerBI along with Excel, SQL and Python.
  • Lead data analytics projects to advise clients on financial and commercial issues, M&A transactions, and value creation opportunities for corporate clients and private equity portfolio companies.
  • Guide teams in executing descriptive and predictive analytics, transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Contribute to practice development and business growth through client meetings, presentations, and new business pursuits.
  • Support the career development of junior staff through mentorship.
  • Drive innovation by applying advanced analytical techniques and staying updated on sector trends.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic insights and solutions.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data wrangling, transformation, and analysis (both descriptive and predictive).
  • Proficiency in relational databases and data models.
  • Experience in diverse industries (e.g., TMT, Healthcare, Retail) and functional areas (e.g., corporate finance, supply chain).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data to varied audiences.
  • You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.
