Job Summary

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an IAM Audit Analyst to support IAM audits, ITGC assessments, and cybersecurity controls. This role partners with technology, risk, and business stakeholders to perform control testing, identify risks, support remediation efforts, and ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead projects related to Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, IT General Controls (ITGC), information security/cybersecurity, application and system implementation reviews, and IT governance processes
  • Provide oversight and guidance to stakeholders regarding IAM audit requests and evidence requests
  • Partner with implementation owners to define audit scope and objectives and develop testing strategies based on risk assessments
  • Assist in developing evidence testing timelines based on audit scope and risk levels
  • Finalize and review audit planning and scoping documentation
  • Conduct and review walkthroughs and testing of application controls, interface controls, and IAM processes, including provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Ensure all audit activities meet departmental standards and quality requirements
  • Analyze implementation plans and follow up on milestones related to issues identified by first-line, second-line, and audit teams
  • Collaborate with business, technology, risk, and control stakeholders to drive issue resolution, remediation tracking, and governance alignment
  • Communicate audit status, findings, and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership
  • Draft audit findings, status updates, memos, reports, and final closure packages
  • Identify and evaluate risks, control gaps, and remediation actions
  • Coordinate with regional, business unit, and specialist teams to ensure comprehensive risk coverage
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
  • 5+ years of experience in IT audit, risk management, controls, or IAM-focused audit and security control environments
  • Strong knowledge of audit standards, methodologies, procedures, IT systems, applications, and cybersecurity risks
  • Deep understanding of IAM principles, including user lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Experience with IAM technologies such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Azure AD, Cyber Ark, or similar platforms
  • Understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC) and compliance frameworks such as SOX and ISO standards
  • Experience leading and executing walkthroughs, control design evaluations, and operational effectiveness testing
  • Strong analytical, documentation, reporting, and data interpretation skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or equivalent
  • Experience supporting IAM governance programs and access certification initiatives
  • Experience working within cloud IAM environments, including Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
  • Proven ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:
The approximate pay range for this position is between $44.00 and $63.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
