Title: Technology Contracts Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CT
Duration & Type: Initial 4-month Contract with potential extension or conversion
Compensation: Competitive W2 hourly rate ($37-39 per hour), plus access to healthcare and dental insurance plans of choice (benefit plan details available upon request)
SummaryChamberlain Advisors is seeking a Contract Management Analyst III for a large, industry-leading organization within the airline and aviation sector. This position will support the Technology organization and play a key role in reviewing, managing, and tracking contracts with a particular focus on cybersecurity, technology risk, legal requirements, and contractual compliance.
The ideal candidate brings strong contract review and contract management experience, sound business judgment, and the ability to identify contractual risk, understand acceptable fallback positions, and determine when issues require escalation. This individual will work cross-functionally with stakeholders across Cyber Legal, General Procurement, Legal, Privacy, Technology, and various business teams.
Success in this position requires someone who can manage multiple contracts and competing deadlines while translating complex contractual, cybersecurity, and technical requirements into clear, business-friendly language.
What You Will Be Accountable For- Review and analyze contracts to identify priority provisions, contractual risks, company requirements, and acceptable fallback positions.
- Clearly articulate the rationale behind contractual requirements and proposed changes to internal stakeholders.
- Identify contractual issues that require additional review or escalation.
- Partner closely with Cyber Legal, General Procurement, Legal, Privacy, business owners, and Technology stakeholders to facilitate contract review and resolution.
- Evaluate contractual and cybersecurity-related risk and prioritize agreements based on business criticality, risk exposure, and required deadlines.
- Manage multiple contracts simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, organization, and timely follow-through.
- Track contract status, outstanding requirements, escalations, and next steps using Microsoft Excel and internal tracking processes.
- Communicate complex cybersecurity, technical, legal, and contractual concepts in clear language appropriate for both technical and nontechnical business stakeholders.
- Adjust priorities as business requirements, deadlines, and organizational needs evolve.
- Independently manage assigned responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accountability and professionalism.
- Support colleagues and broader team priorities when additional assistance is required.
- Incorporate feedback and continuously strengthen knowledge of contract management, cybersecurity requirements, and organizational processes.
- 5–8 years of relevant professional experience, preferably involving contract management, contract analysis, procurement, legal operations, technology contracts, vendor management, or a related function.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and analyzing contracts and identifying important contractual provisions.
