Location: Chicago, IL (Wrigley Building)

Compensation: $92,000 – $120,000 + annual bonus

Regular in-person attendance consistent with the Company's established work schedule is an essential function of this position to facilitate effective collaboration, communication, and business operations.

Position Summary

This position supports enterprise data, analytics, and reporting initiatives across Oil-Dri. The role partners with business users across finance, operations, supply chain, and commercial sales to gather data needs, develop reports and dashboards, and support data-driven decision-making.

This position is well suited for someone who can work across technical tools and business teams, translate data into usable insights, and help increase adoption of reporting platforms across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and support reports, dashboards, and visualizations across operational and analytical reporting tools
  • Create database relationships, table joins, and semantic layers within relevant reporting platforms
  • Partner with business users to gather requirements and align reporting solutions with organizational goals
  • Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that support business initiatives
  • Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer for reporting tools and data sets
  • Support user adoption by assisting with questions, leading user groups, and collaborating with super users
  • Coordinate with the help desk on user access and administrative tasks within BI tools
  • Support project lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, testing, validation, and dashboard/report deployment
  • Work across technical and non-technical teams to improve reporting accuracy, usability, and adoption

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, or another technical field
  • 4–7 years of experience in data, analytics, reporting, or business intelligence
  • Advanced experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Reports Now, or similar platforms
  • Experience building advanced reports, semantic layers, and table joins
  • Strong understanding of business processes across operations, manufacturing, finance, commercial sales, or supply chain
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate with and mentor business users across multiple functions
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to balance technical, analytical, and user-support responsibilities

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with ERP data, particularly JD Edwards, Oracle, or SAP
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, or other data/statistical languages
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, supply chain, or multi-functional business environments

Compensation and Benefits
