IT Systems Associate

Overview

SRAM IT Operations supports a global team of 28 across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, delivering technology services to manufacturing sites, corporate offices, and digital/software teams worldwide. As an Associate IT Systems Analyst, you'll contribute across end user support, systems administration, and technical training, working under the close guidance of senior IT staff as you build a strong foundation in enterprise IT operations.

This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who wants broad hands‑on exposure to enterprise infrastructure, ITSM tooling, and global IT operations in a high-performance manufacturing and product company.

• End User Support
• Respond to end user requests via SRAM's Service Hub (Jira Service Management), resolving basic issues related to devices, applications, access, and performance
• Escalate problems to the appropriate team or level to achieve timely resolution, and document incidents and resolution steps within the ticketing system
• Advise users on best practices to resolve and prevent recurring issues, providing written documentation as needed
  
  Create, modify, and manage user accounts and services across SRAM's cloud platforms
• Systems Administration
• Support administration of network, server, and cloud environments under the guidance of senior infrastructure staff
• Assist with patch management, system upgrades, and application deployments following SRAM's ITIL-aligned change management process
• Contribute to monitoring and alerting workflows using SRAM's observability tooling
  
  Support onboarding, device provisioning, and lifecycle management for end user computing hardware across global sites
• Maintain and follow documented disaster recovery, backup, and security procedures
• Training and Enablement
• Conduct technical training sessions for end users on new and existing IT solutions, including M365, collaboration tools, and SRAM IT processes
• Develop training materials, job aids, and knowledge base articles in partnership with the broader IT Ops team
• Contribute to Confluence-based IT documentation including runbooks and SOPs
• Automation and Process Improvement
• Develop scripting and programming skills to support infrastructure and systems management (Power Shell, Python, Bash, or similar)
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives under the IT Ops platform model
• Contribute to project teams as directed by senior IT staff

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or a high school diploma/GED with relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or similar); or equivalent hands‑on experience
• Demonstrated analytical troubleshooting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  
  Ability to provide technical training to end users
• Willingness to learn and grow across IT systems and disciplines
• Experience working on project teams
• Preferred
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and server administration (Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra )
• Experience with ITSM tools (Jira Service Management, Service Now, or similar)
• Exposure to endpoint management tools (Intune, JAMF, or similar)
  Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and IT service delivery best practices
• Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Microsoft Azure
• Scripting experience or interest in developing those skills (Power Shell, Python, Bash)
