Manager (Applications Consultant) (full-time; multiple openings) needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to design, develop, enhance, customize, and integrate software applications under the supervision of a Sr. Manager. Responsible for software design and realization, testing, deployment, release management, and technical/functional application management of client-specific solutions. Define system strategy and requirements; analyze existing applications for performance improvements;

design, prototype, test, and implement business solutions under multiple deadlines. Evaluate feasibility within time and cost constraints; translate business cases into technical designs and specifications. Identify and manage operational/technical issues and key scope activities; engage with customers to resolve escalations; forecast work and plan team support. Review team deliverables to improve quality and productivity. Modify designs to maintain performance; coordinate with support teams to reduce incidents;

monitor performance and assess impacts of design changes. Create data models, workflows, integration approaches, and tracking application specifications. Prepare monthly reports for clients and stakeholders and resolve issues to ensure project delivery.

Must have a Master's Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Math, Information Technology, or related field, plus two (2) years of IT experience. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Math, Information Technology, or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate IT experience. Must have one (1) year of IT work experience using one of the following skill sets: AWS, Azure, and Java/J2EE;

SAP MM, SAP WM, and SAP S/4 HANA;
Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and AngularJS;
OrCAD, PADS, and Altium; OR Python, GIT, and CI/CD. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs. International travel not required. Travel not to exceed 5% / year for meetings and to complete assigned projects of varying lengths. Telecommuting may be permitted as needed.
