Our client is seeking an IT Knowledge Management Consultant focused on helping an organization get its technical knowledge, documentation, training, governance, and collaboration practices organized before and after a major platform implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Revise and launch the content management training course on enterprise learning platform
- Migrate Disaster Recovery (DR) runbooks to the designated repository
- Develop a content roadmap (including taxonomy, classification standards, retirement, etc.) for knowledge documentation
- Assess existing knowledge repositories and establish best practices on where critical knowledge should be stored, organized, and governed
- Develop a roadmap for establishing communities of practice
- Conduct a full knowledge transfer of all knowledge gained throughout the engagement prior to contract end, including documentation and stakeholder introductions as applicable
- 5-7 years in content strategy, knowledge management consulting, or organizational change/enablement
- Strong technical background to interact with developers, architects, environment managers, production support teams, etc.
- Strong facilitation and training delivery skills; needs enough credibility to build trust with cross-functional teams without a long ramp-up
