Job Description IXO is engaging specialists to evaluate the analytical reasoning that connects raw data to a useful business report. Your contribution is technical work: make the reasoning inspectable, identify substantive errors and provide evidence that supports a reliable assessment.## Work you will do
* Create dashboard and reporting scenarios with defined metrics, appropriate source tables and an explainable data model.
* Independently check SQL and calculations; identify misleading aggregation, unsupported comparisons, hidden bias or poor visual encodings.
* Evaluate Tableau, Power BI, Looker or other relevant outputs for analytical integrity and understandable recommendations.
* Check business-data interpretations, statistical comparisons and decision-oriented dashboards against the underlying data.## Qualification routes

Qualify through the assessment route below or the additional specialist route. Each route has its own background and regional criteria; these routes are alternatives.## Assessment route requirements
* Professional analytical experience spanning data, statistics, ML or data engineering; explain analytical choices clearly and resolve unclear requirements.
* BI-specific route: at least two years in analytics or BI, strong SQL and practical depth in one of Looker, Tableau or Power BI. Build and validate the data beneath a dashboard, not only its presentation.
* Work independently with data models, warehouses and written English reasoning.## Preferred background
* Stakeholder or executive reporting; semantic-model experience in dbt or LookML;
Tableau Desktop Specialist or Microsoft PL-300 certification.## Additional specialist route

The broader analytics route favors three or more years, SQL/Excel plus Python or R, statistical tests, data models and dashboard tools. Snowflake, Big Query or Redshift experience is useful.## Deliverables Submit the completed technical artifact or assessment with its supporting evidence, explicit assumptions, reproducible checks where applicable, and concise reasons for each material judgment. Address review findings within the agreed scope.##

Location and schedule

Additional specialist route eligibility: USA, UK, Australia. Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with no guaranteed weekly volume. Availability planning can include 40, 15-30, 10 hours per week depending on the track. IXO confirms the applicable timing before work.## Pay and working terms $75 - $130/hr USD. The agreed hourly rate, scope, schedule and acceptance criteria are confirmed before work starts.
