We are partnering with a highly respected national insurance carrier to help them find a Technical Claims Manager specializing in Construction Defect. This organization is known for its financial strength, employee ownership culture, and commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for policyholders and partners.

Position Overview

Under limited supervision, you will manage moderate exposure General Liability claims, including bodily injury, property damage, and construction defect matters. You will be responsible for coverage evaluation, liability analysis, reserve setting, and claim resolution to ensure timely and accurate outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate claims for coverage, liability, damages, and reserves
• Handle litigated and non-litigated third‑party injury and property damage claims
• Manage external partners including attorneys, adjusters, investigators, and experts
• Ensure accurate documentation, file handling, and timely claim resolution
• Participate in special projects and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of claims handling experience
• Prior construction defect experience strongly preferred
• JD with insurance defense or coverage experience is a plus
