About The Position
This is an ideal role for a well‑organized, detail‑oriented, resourceful professional with broad Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience. Primary Responsibilities
- Manages the Commercial Insurance due diligence process from start to finish, including the communication with internal subject matter experts, clients (private equity deal team), target company c‑suite executives, and other third‑party deal advisors.
- Prepares and presents reports on the Commercial Insurance and risk management programs of the proposed acquisition.
- Assembles relevant diligence information and analyzes the quality of the insurance program commenting on coverage adequacy, uncovered risks, pricing as well as providing risk management recommendations.
- Collects and compiles ongoing data uploads.
- Works on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Works with specialized coverage and industry experts within HUB across North America to provide a written evaluation and recommendations to the potential buyer of the Target Company.
- Reviews and analyzes financial statements of companies targeted for acquisition.
- Provides assistance in the ongoing relationship management of our private equity clients.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3 - 7 years of Commercial Insurance due diligence insurance experience.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Working knowledge of private equity and M&A market trends.
- Ability to think critically, commercially, strategically and practically.
