Job Description
A CNA Insurance Claims Analyst (or Representative/Consultant) manages a portfolio of commercial claims by investigating liability, verifying policy coverage, setting reserves, and negotiating settlements. They ensure compliance with regulations, interact with insureds/claimants, and collaborate with legal/technical experts to resolve claims efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.
Job Duties- Investigation & Liability:
Conduct detailed investigations, including taking recorded statements, to determine liability and compensability. - Coverage Analysis:
Interpret complex policy language to verify coverage and set appropriate reserves. - Negotiation & Resolution:
Negotiate settlement packages and authorize disbursements within authority limits. - Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate file documentation and ensure compliance with state/local regulations and company protocols. - Customer Service:
Act as a liaison with insureds, brokers, and claimants to provide updates and resolve issues.
- They write nursing home, hospital, and physician policies – they handle those claims.
- Contract for 6 months. Maybe could go direct, not sure.
Claims range from 1 million policy limits to 10 million policy limits. High exposure limits may not be handled by temporary staff.

Property and workers comp side won’t translate well. - Experience with Commercial insurance such as general liability, accounting malpractice, auto claims.
- Medical Claims experience is a plus.
Contract position based out of Chicago, IL. Fully remote.
Pay And BenefitsPay range: $24.00 - $28.84/hr.
