Aon is in the business of better decisions. As an Associate Broker in our Cyber Solutions team, you will help clients understand and manage cyber and technology risk by supporting the placement and servicing of cyber insurance programs.
Role overview
As an Associate Broker, you will work closely with senior brokers to market, place, and service cyber and technology E&O insurance for a diverse portfolio of clients. This is an early‑career role ideal for someone who is highly organized, analytically minded, and interested in both cyber risk and insurance. You’ll have direct exposure to clients and insurers, with clear opportunities to learn and grow within Aon.

Job Responsibilities- Support senior brokers with marketing and placement of cyber and technology E&O insurance programs
- Help collect and organize underwriting information, applications, and exposure data from clients
- Prepare market submissions, quote comparisons, and placement proposals under guidance
- Assist with renewal processes, including timelines, data requests, and renewal summaries
- Draft routine client and insurer correspondence (endorsements, policy changes, information requests)
- Maintain accurate documentation and data in Aon systems and client files
- Coordinate with cyber insurers to track quotes, terms, conditions, and status updates
- Assist in preparing client presentations, pitch materials, and stewardship reports
- Adhere to internal procedures and regulatory/compliance requirements in all activities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time‑management abilities
- Comfortable working with numbers and comparing limits, deductibles, and premiums
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to quickly learn new systems
- Genuine interest in cyber risk, technology, and/or insurance
- Prior experience in insurance, broking, underwriting, or risk is a plus but not required at the associate level
