Sr. Underwriter – Regional Manager – MPL (Permanent)

West Coast region (hybrid; requires 2 days in the office weekly)

• Underwrite, price and negotiate accounts for Professional Liability and related lines, ensuring consistency with company strategy and guidelines.
• Develop new broker relationships and deepen existing ones across the West Coast to drive production.
• Collaborate with the national MPL team for knowledge sharing.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Consistently exceed the minimum quote output numbers set by the MPL manager.
• Travel regionally for industry events and broker visits as needed.

• 5+ years of experience in professional E&O coverage.
• Customer‑centric mindset with a passion for superior customer service.
• Strong sales principles, presentation, negotiation skills, and competitive drive.
• Team‑oriented, collaborative with a desire to share information across divisions.
• Proven track record of underwriting profitability.
• Driven, high attention to detail, results‑focused.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
• B.A./B.S. degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% across West Coast, Mid‑West, and Mountain States.
