At Alera Group, our Property & Casualty team partners with businesses to identify risks, protect assets, and deliver insurance solutions that support long-term success. As a Account Coordinator, you'll help build trusted client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and provide proactive guidance that helps clients confidently navigate an evolving risk landscape. This role works on a team focusing on Healthcare Liability and Medical Malpractice insurance.
- Enter client and policy information into the agency management system and maintain accurate account records
- Review policies, process change requests, follow up with carriers, review endorsements, and invoice clients
- Assist with the renewal and new business processes while supporting overall account management activities
- Develop a strong understanding of Medical Malpractice Liability Insurance and related ancillary liability coverages
- Build and maintain relationships with carrier partners, healthcare providers, medical firms, and internal colleagues
- Generate certificates of insurance, proposals, and other client-related documents
- Utilize AMS
360, Microsoft Office Suite, COI generator, and other internal tools to support workflow efficiency - Manage ad hoc administrative and account maintenance tasks to ensure a positive client experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent data entry skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to deliver responsive and professional client service
Licensure:
- Ability and willingness to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance License within 90 days of hire
- 0 to 2 years of insurance industry experience
- Experience with AMS
360 or other agency management systems - Interest in developing expertise in Healthcare Liability and Medical Malpractice insurance
- Experience supporting account management, client service, or insurance operations functions
- Salary: $52,000

Travel Requirements:
